Extra Post - Fruits of the Amazon

Yesterday, I did a bit of gardening with Jeffson's dad in the yard of the jungle lodge. He taught me about the plants we were planting and the others growing in the area. Firstly,
the seedlings we were planting:

Jambo (guava)
Caju (cashew)
Limão (lemon)

Other plants with out pics that we planted:
Araça (psidium SPP): guava relative
Abacate (avocado)

Plants growing in the area
Macaxeira (Cassava): the root of this plant is used to make their popular mandioc flour
Tucumã (Tucum): produces edible fruit which is also used for biodiesel.
Cacao (Cocoa): beans harvested for chocolate
Açai (Acai Berry): popular berry due to antioxidant claims.
Bacaba (turu palm): produces the most fruit out of any palm. Small fruits make a popular juice
Pataua (patawa): relative to bacaba, this tree produces edible berries, rich in oil that is used to treat bronchitis.
